Planned Maintenance on Saturday, 22 August 2026 – Some Services Unavailable
On 22 August 2026, we will perform an upgrade to Alfresco in production. Alfresco is our document management system, which is used to store all member-related documentation.
The application will be unavailable from 08:00 to 20:00 (UTC+2) on 22 August. During this time, it will not be possible to use Alfresco, or to complete the following actions:
- Membership applications
- Resource transfers
- Resource requests
- Merger & Acquisition requests
- Any other actions for which a ticket is created, as this depends on Alfresco being available
The upgrade is a necessary step to bring the application up-to-date and mitigate vulnerabilities and security risks.
Please be aware that unexpected patching can cause a delay in the application becoming available again. We have therefore picked a weekend to complete the upgrade to allow for overrun if needed.
In the event of a rollback, we will update this post to notify users and schedule the upgrade for another time. Be aware that the upgrade has been completed in two other environments without issue, so a rollback is not expected.
